Annabel Karmel extends her own-​brand line of children’s meals with Chicken Enchiladas, comprising chicken breast with diced onion and sweet peppers. Retail price is £2.29 for 220g.

Carl Buddig has launched a line of convenience meat and poultry products under the name Fix Quix.

The Granja del Sol brand Patitas frozen chicken nuggets, from Molinos Rio de la Plata in Argentina, are labelled as a natural source of proteins, phosphorous and vitamin B3. They come in an 800g pack.

In Belgium, NV FreshMeals has introduced a new Plop chilled meal for children under the ‘Come a Casa’ brand. A 350g meal retails at €3.85.

US company MS Intertrade has a line of gourmet frozen meals under the name ‘At Home Chef’, recently extended with Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken Breast.

Scan Foods introduces Deli and Mini Meatballs to the UK market. The Deli pork or beef meatballs have a higher meat content and are available in 300g packs at £2.20.

The Mini Meatballs come in 200g resealable packs in three flavoured pork varieties: mild chilli, cheese and sun-​dried tomato. They retail at £2.

Fleischwaren Berger of Austria has recently introduced its Wellness Ham in the Czech Republic. A 100g tray pack retails at €1.70.
