The latest beverages from Beverage Innovation issue 69.

The 14oz Holistics range from Adina contains five key ingredients – ashwagandha, astragalus, ginseng, tulsi leaf and amalaki. Promoted as a natural choice for yoga enthusiasts, the drink is sold in health stores in the US.

Global Juices&Fruits has added three new blends to its Earthly Delights range called Focus, Hearten and Defense. Packed with antioxidants, the drinks are sweetened with naturally derived Stevia.

Designed for Coca-Cola by Saffron Brand Consultants, the Menos es Mas range of concentrated drinks has cool environmentally friendly graphics.

Daniels Group has introduced a range of drinks to help improve appearance. JU skin smooth contains blueberries and acai, while JU hair shine, JU skin glow and JU nail strong each contain relevant functional ingredients.

Sunraysia has redesigned its concentrated juice drink with a new logo and slogan – natural, nutritious and delicious. Adjusting its pack size to 750ml, the range includes Alphonso mango …

Mr Juicy juices from St Ivel are now available in new packaging formats that make it easier to store and pour. The new sizes are 200ml and 1 litre cartons in orange …

In striking black for optimal shelf stand out, the mango, coconut and lemongrass smoothie from Innocent Drinks has been brought back as a limited edition following consumer demand.

Princes has launched a new 1 litre 35% juice range in four ‘sophisticated’ flavours to help reposition juice as ‘not just for breakfast’.

Enco Products from the Caribbean has expanded its Grace Tropical Rhythms range with pineapple guava, orange mango and lulo orange. The new 500ml PET bottles compliment the existing glass fruit juice range.

Biona Organic, from Windmill Organics, has rebranded its 100% pure juice range to communicate purity and quality and improve shelf stand out.

Coca-Cola’s Minute Maid strawberry kiwi contains yerba mate and fruit juice. In 59 fl oz PET with an easy pour side grip and attractive clear packaging, this expands the Minute Maid Enhanced Juice line up.

Coca-Cola has relaunched its entire Cappy Juice and Nectar portfolio in new Elopak Slim cartons. The Cappy Classic and Cappy Premium have been repackaged in the Elopak Slim 1 litre carton …

… and the functional range, Cappy BodyTime, has been relaunched in Elopack Slim 750ml cartons.

Relentless Shot, from Coca-Cola Enterprises, provides the same amount of energy as 250ml of regular Relentless. Each 50ml shot contains 80mg of caffeine as well as vitamins B6 and B12.

Energy Malz is a non-alcoholic malt beer drink from Goller that is said to taste like beer but is designed to release energy slowly and evenly due to the ingredient Palatinose.

Monster Energy is launching Nitrous Monster, claimed to be the first energy drink to feature nitrous oxide gas technology. The revolutionary new drink boasts a rich creamy texture and smooth drinkable flavour.

Linked to online gaming, Chaotic Elixir of Tenacity is a grape punch, nutrient infused drink from US based Chaotic Drinks. Others in the range include Chaotic Fearocity, a sour kiwi melon flavour, …

R20 Energy Drink from Hoop Polska has been relaunched in three new flavours. The first, named Basic Level, maintains the original R20 flavour, Red Level is cherry acai flavoured, whilst Yellow Level contains lemon and guava.

Target energy drink has teamed up with sports personality David Lloyd to create Target Sport. The shot contains no sugar, just four calories and claims to give a 5 hour energy boost with no crash.

Energy boost drink 3Action Guarana – Speed on Top from Luked is the latest RTD beverage to contain the functional carbohydrate Palatinose. In 25mg bottles, the drink is said to relieve fatigue while improving performance.

FuzzBee Beverage Company has created Zun, a brain boosting drink containing CoQ10, gingko biloba and choline. Research suggests the drink can help with brain and heart health.

Premium energy drink Rubyy has launched a diet version of its orange flavour. It is packaged in stylish aluminium cans that glow in the dark.

Lapin Pin-Pin energy drink, from Refresco France, has launched two new seasonal variants: Christmas Pin-Pin and Pin-Pin to the Beach.

The Coca-Cola Company has expanded its vitaminwater portfolio of nutrient rich beverages with a berry cherry variant. The new drink provides vitamins B3, B5, B6, B12 and C as well as antioxidants to boost the immune system.

Power Trip Beverages has launched what appears to be the first coconut flavoured energy drink. Each 16oz can provides 100% RDA of vitamins C, B2, B3, B5 and B12 as well as 200% RDA of vitamin B6.

Developed by PRE Beverage Company, PRE Probiotic Enhancer is designed to improve digestion of food and absorption of vitamins. Flavours include pomegranate yumberry and pomegranate white tea.

Rockin’ Water is a naturally flavoured enhanced water beverage with an ORAC rating of 500, equivalent to a full serving of fruit or vegetables.

To maximise the reach of Vimto’s viral campaign, a branded game entitled ‘High Dive’ and a UGC electronic greeting card can be found on the Vimto site. Both the game and the e-card feature the characters from the TV ads.

To honour the ‘road trip season’ in the US, Jones Soda and Griffin Technology gave away ten Griffin iTrip Autopilots to road trippers each week. The best road trip photos were printed on thousands of bottles of Jones Soda.

To mark the 50th anniversary of UK based Ben Shaws, the company has rebranded with old photos of Benjamin Shaw, Yorkshire scenes and nostalgia. The website has a shoot the can game.

Rauch Group has teamed with Koolaking to distribute its healthy fruit juices and iced tea and coffee direct to offices. Instead of high maintenance vending machines, Koolaking will supply Rauch Group drinks direct in coolers.

US based Dean Foods has launched Swiss Premium Tea in gallon and half gallon jugs and single serve pints. Available in regular, diet with lemon, sweetened tea and green tea with ginseng and honey.

Good Night herbal tea from Good Earth Teas is promoted as a natural way to slip into sleep. Containing peppermint, spearmint and lavender, this organic tea is a caffeine free drink which also has chamomile to relieve stress.

The Berry Company have launched a spin off brand called Special Tea. Red Tea with pomegranate, Green Tea with blueberry and White Tea with peach are 100% natural and a rich source of antioxidants.

The Alfresco Drinks Company has relaunched its fruit drinks range with new packaging. The new Aronia berry variant joins grape, apple, citrus and berry blends in 500ml wide mouth PET bottles, all with no artificial colours or flavours.

Milk Break by Aimia Foods is the first school compliant milkshake mix made with water rather than milk. It uses 100% skimmed milk powder and each 100g serving provides calcium and protein. Available in strawberry …

Sun Shower Super Blends Organic iced coffee from US based NBI Juiceworks, in 9.5oz bottles, has 170 calories and contains vitamins and minerals.

Make Us A Brew has unveiled a new range of herbal based organic teabag blends. The two new flavours include Big Chill and Look Lively, which will complement the relaunch of the best selling Mint & Chilli.

Tetley’s ‘on the go’ case of 300 teabags, cups and lids has proved popular as a million cups have been sold in the last 6 months.

The Rainforest Alliance (RA) and Nestle Nespresso have signed an Ecolaboration agreement ensuring that 80% of Nespresso’s coffee is from RA certified farms by 2013.

Kaffehuset Friele, Norway’s leading coffee roaster, has chosen Amcor DeMet XP for it 250g coffee pack, Friele Espresso. The pack is gravure printed with a transparent window allowing the consumer to see the coffee beans.
