Tea-​Tox afternoons at Bam-​Bou in London

Caprice Holdings’ Bam-​Bou restaurant has created ‘Tea-​Tox’, an afternoon tea salon that ‘blends chic London style with eastern culture’. Tea-​Tox is available from 15 Aug until end of Sept, from 3-​5pm.

Chrysanthemum Flower Tea – naturally sweet and refreshing with a scent of chamomile (detoxifies blood, helps relieve sinus congestion, high blood pressure and is excellent for hay fever sufferers).

Pai Mu Tan Tea – with a delicate lingering fragrance and a fresh, mellow, sweet taste (prevents cardiovascular disease, inhibits arteriosclerosis).

Damask Rose Tea Buds – miniature rose buds from the Fujian province. Delicate, light and fragrant (an excellent tonic to relieve anxiety and stress).

Giant Unfurling Flowering Tea Bulbs – a selection of bulbs that flower in the elegant glass teapot (aids digestion, strengthens the immune system, lowers cholesterol, boosts antioxidant levels and gives your skin a healthy glow).
