Belu water prides itself on its sustainability with all its bottles being made in the UK using the highest possible percentage recycled materials and is the first bottled water to be given Approved Supplier status by the Sustainable Restaurant Association. Belu is sold only in the UK, via both on-trade and retail outlets.
The brand is an exclusive bottled water partner of WaterAid, which receives all of Belu’s profits. Each year, WaterAid is guaranteed a minimum of £100,000.
Belu is sourced from two boreholes – one in Cambridgeshire (UK), from which RPET packaged waters are sourced; and the second from Shropshire, where glass bottles are currently filled.
Jo Jacobius, founder and director of British Bottled Water Producers, said: “We are pleased to welcome Belu water into the Association. Under its new MD, Karen Lynch, the management team is ensuring that the charitable aims of the company are being met with an impressive donation to WaterAid being made each year.
” The money raised by Belu is enough to help WaterAid transform the lives of over 13,000 people with access to clean water, improved sanitation and hygiene”.
