Each cartridge in the new Ekocycle Cube printer has the capacity to turn the equivalent of three bottles into wearable fashion, music accessories or desktop décor.
Printing exclusively in post-consumer waste, the new device can produce items up to six inches cubed in red, black, white or ‘natural’ colours.
The Ekocycle Cube prints high resolution designs with the strongest flexibility possible from PJP (Plastic Jet Printing). Creations produced by the new 3D Systems machine are completed quickly and are highly durable.
Coca-Cola is a partner in the innovative Ekocycle Cube project. The device is expected to start selling in the second half of 2014 with a starting price of $1,199.
