AAK publishes new sustainability report
AAK has released the company’s new sustainability report-a transparent presentation of the AAK Group’s objectives, initiatives and activities relating to corporate social responsibility (CSR).
President and CEO, Arne Frank, said: “As the world’s leading supplier of speciality vegetable oils and fats, at AAK we are very aware of our responsibility to source, handle, produce and deliver our products in the most efficient and sustainable manner as we strive to meet our strategic goals.
The annual report and the sustainability report present a full and transparent picture of AAK, including economic, environmental and social performance. The sustainability report covers the entire AAK organisation, including production plants, administrative offices, sales offices and sourcing operations. Throughout the report, top managers share their thoughts and insights in relation to their specific areas of responsibility, and AAK colleagues share stories on some of the many sustainability initiatives.
Frank added: “We will continue to drive responsible growth. With sustainability on top of our agenda, we are convinced that even better years lie ahead of us. Our responsible approach is building strong capabilities for sustainable growth into new markets, countries and cultures.”
