Sealed using Aplix seal technology, the Anchor Cheddar packaging will be the first branded block cheese in the world to use the new easy ‘pinch’ close seal.
Aplix seal packaging removes the need to line up the packaging channels to re-close the pack, making it easier to close, and ensuring Anchor Cheddar stays fresher for longer.
Anchor has an exclusivity agreement with the manufacturers for 18 months, ensuring Anchor will be the only branded block cheese product on the market benefiting from the Aplix technology.
The packaging also includes prominent Anchor branding with a different coloured swish at the bottom of the pack, to signpost consumers to the two variants on-shelf, using red for Anchor Mature Cheddar and purple for Anchor Extra Mature Cheddar.
