Aqua Pyrénées spring first in France to pass GBWA audit

Filed by Hannah Oakman

The Aqua Pyrénées spring in Alsace has become the first spring in France to pass the German Bottled Watercooler Association audit through the new European Bottled Watercooler Association Audit Guide.

The company has been delivering spring water from the plant since 2003. The water, in 3- and 5-gallon bottles for the water cooler industry, is distributed in a 250km circle in France and Germany, including Strasbourg, Karlsruhe, Zurich and Nancy.

The plant has an annual one million bottle capacity for 5-gallon bottles, and internal storage of around 3,500 m². The plant is also easily adaptable to hold palettes, plastic or metal racks.
