Mexican beer brand Corona will host an extensive series of global celebrations to “bring the sunset moment to life for music lovers and festival-goers”.
The brand will host a line-up of world-class artists on the Corona stage at Lovebox Festival in London from 15–16 July. It will then debut the Corona stage on 17 July at the Citadel Festival – held at the same East London park as Lovebox the day before – showcasing an “amazing selection” of artists.
At both festivals, the Corona stage will combine chilled beach tunes, upbeat melodic, and deep house music to bring Corona’s summer vibe to life, and re-emphasise its position as a beer brand for the big social occasions.
Both events will be in addition to the Corona SunSets Festival, which will return to Greenwich Peninsula in the capital on 30 July.
The festivals will tie-in with Corona’s newly announced This is Living brand campaign, which FoodBev first reported on earlier this month and which will encourage consumers to enjoy life, get active and experience “authentic moments” with friends and loved ones.
Andrew Milford, brand manager for Corona, said: “We want to remind people to take a step back from their busy lives, come outside and live more moments that matter. At Corona, this idea is brought to life through the sunset which has transformational powers to inspire us.
“We’re really excited to be partnering with Lovebox and Citadel and want our stage to bring friends together in a space where they can fully immerse themselves in the music and culture whilst enjoying the magic of the sunset moment.”
