Premium drinks brand Belvoir Fruit Farms has added ‘a subtle and sophisticated’ variety to its range of lightly sparkling pressés.
The new citrus chardonnay pressé is made using real chardonnay grape juice, blended with zesty citrus fruit juice and a touch of lemon thyme for increased complexity.
The latest addition to the range makes a refreshingly crisp alternative to sparkling white wine and can be served both on its own or as the basis of a cocktail or ‘virgin cocktail’, which draws on the increasing popularity of alcohol alternatives.
Like all Belvoir’s drinks, the chardonnay citrus pressé is made using only natural ingredients with no artificial colourings, preservatives, additives or sweeteners.
Its sophisticated nose, taste and subtle bubbles work to increase the similarity between the chardonnay pressé and real wine, Belvoir said. The drink will be available in 75cl bottles in Tesco stores in the UK for around £2.29.
