Ben & Jerry’s is launching the second year of its Join Our Core competition to dig out Europe’s top socially conscious entrepreneurs.
The winners will each scoop a €10,000 cash prize, have a Ben & Jerry’s flavour named after them and win a trip to Vermont in the US.
The winner will also receive specialist business mentoring from Ashoka, a global network of social entrepreneurs.
The Join Our Core 2013 competition launched 4 March and has expanded from five to nine European countries: the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, Austria and Switzerland.
The winners will be selected by an expert panel of business and sustainability minds, which will again include Ben & Jerry’s co-founder Jerry Greenfield, and will culminate in a trip to Ben & Jerry’s HQ in Vermont in September.
