Beneo’s plants in Wijgmaal, Belgium and Confienza, Italy, have been awarded their first International Food Standard (IFS) certification, with a score of 98.5% at higher level.

Beneo’s functional rice derivatives are produced at both plants, including the company’s Remyline, Remygel and Remyflo brands.

The results at Beneo’s plants in Wijgmaal and Confienza prove compliance with the highest industry standards and re-enforce Beneo’s IFS records previously received at its other plants in Oreye, Belgium, Offstein, Germany and in Pemuco, Chile that were rated at 97%, 99.89% and 99.36% respectively.

The high score certifications affirm Beneo’s dedication to quality and support the company’s aim to become the preferred partner for functional ingredients customers worldwide.
