Breville and SodaStream International have entered a strategic partnership aimed at expanding the home carbonation category.
The jointly developed soda maker is expected to be available in retail stores by 2013.
Jonathan Lord, acting CEO of Breville, said: "The home carbonation market is one of the most exciting categories in kitchen appliances today.
"We are delighted to join forces with SodaStream to bring together our premium design capability with their industry leading technology."
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
