Popcorn brand Butterkist has brought back its seasonal gingerbread-flavoured popcorn, following its success as a limited-edition product last year.
The 160g Butterkist gingerbread popcorn will be available in the convenience and impulse channels with a recommended retail price of £1.49 per bag.
The gingerbread popcorn originally launched in September 2015 as a limited-edition seasonal product, and billed as ‘the first and only gingerbread popcorn product in the marketplace’. The relaunched version will feature the same taste, with sweet and spicy flavour appealing to consumers of all ages looking to experience something new within the popcorn market, as well as those who are seeking out novelty winter treats.
The relaunch is part of Butterkist’s drive to broaden the brand’s traditional flavour portfolio as unique flavour combinations continue to prove popular with consumers.
