Cadbury to open cafes in the UK

Shaun Weston12 Apr 2010

Cadbury is planning to open a chain of branded cafes across the UK, according to an Associated Press report.

Parent company Kraft has given Cadbury the green light to proceed with outlets that offer ‘afternoon tea and an onsite chocolatier service’.

Cadbury signed a 20-year licence deal in January with a group of retail entrepreneurs to lead the venture. According to the report, Kraft will not provide any financial backing.
