Camden Town Brewery have launched a limited edition lager based with influence from the world’s largest beer festival, Oktoberfest.
The UK based brewery have combined its famous crisp Hells lager with ingredients from the region to create their new single batch seasonal beer.
Brewed using German ingredients, Oktoberfest is complex and nutty with a crisp, dry finish. Munich and Chocolate malts are combined with Camden’s house pilsner malt, adding richness and creating a slightly fuller bodied version of Camden’s famous Hells, with an ABV of 5.7%.
Jasper Cuppaidge founder of Camden Town Brewery said: “Oktoberfest is like Christmas for lager. All year round breweries like ours and those that inspired us in Germany work hard brewing lager, and during Oktoberfest we get to celebrate it.”
Available in 500ml glass bottles with a recommended retail price of £4.85.
