Carl's Jr enters Brazil with restaurant development deal
CKE Restaurants has entered into a development agreement with International Meal Company (IMC) to develop 100 Carl’s Jr restaurants in Brazil over the next seven years.
IMC is a multi-brand casual and quick-service restaurant operator in Latin America with more than 280 company-owned restaurants and 11,000 employees in Brazil, the Caribbean and Mexico.
The company operates in captive markets with well recognised brands across the region.
Ned Lyerly, executive vice president of International for CKE Restaurants, said: “Brazil has one of the most robust economies in the world and our premium quality food and upmarket facilities will resonate well with the discerning Brazilian consumer.”
