Carluccio’s to open more restaurants in UK

The Carluccio’s chain of Italian-themed restaurants, owned by renowned chef Antonio Carluccio, will open five new branches in 2010 according to reports.

The chain stands at 40 restaurants across the UK.
Carluccio’s announced an 8% year-on-year increase in sales for the quarter ending 24 January 2010. These results were achieved without significant discounting.
