CCE to buy Nordic operations from The Coca-Cola Company
Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc has announced that it has agreed to buy The Coca-Cola Company’s bottling operations in Norway and Sweden for $822 million, as part of the deal that will see Coke buy the bottler’s North American operations.
CCE, the largest Coke bottler of Coca-Cola drinks, said in a filing with US securities regulators that its subsidiary agreed to the deal on 20 March.
Coca-Cola plans to buy the Coca-Cola Enterprises’ North American operations, leaving the bottler to be a US listed company with European operations.
