Chadwicks reveals Braille shrink sleeve
Chadwicks Sleeves has launched a shrink sleeve incorporating Braille.
The product, developed in conjunction with the Clondalkin Pharma and Healthcare Division, offers a new way for brands to adhere to European legislation on the incorporation of Braille in packaging.
Following the implementation of The European Standard for Braille on Packaging for Medicinal Products – EN15823 in 2010 – all products that have medical claims that are issued by a non-authorised person must incorporate Braille on packaging.
The first commercial application for the Braille Sleeve is currently at final trial stage.
