Classic Cuisine strengthens range after buying Jon George

Classic Cuisine has increased its range to include a variety of frozen desserts and savouries. The company recently bought Jon George Ltd – a frozen desserts and savoury manufacturer based in Worcestershire.

The desserts range includes Bakewell tart, an Irish cream cheesecake, a chocolate-centred pudding and a range of other desserts such as tiramisu, tarts, cakes and mousses.

The vegetarian savoury range includes a smokey bean rosti, a roast root vegetable rarebit, a goats cheese, red onion & walnut tart, and a range of pies, soufflés and tarts.

Classic Cuisine is a frozen ready meal company that manufactures meals for the foodservice industry. It was set up in 1990. The company produces more than six million meals a year.
