Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) will launch a brand new Christmas advert for 2016 as part of its Taste the Feeling campaign.
The 30-second Coke for Christmas advert is the latest instalment in the company’s multi-million pound Christmas campaign and will air from early December. The creative features a boy handing out glass bottles of Coca-Cola to people whose dedication and extra effort helps others to enjoy Christmas – before leaving a final bottle for Santa himself.
The advert will close with a ten-second sign-off featuring Coca-Cola’s latest addition, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, which it relaunched in April as a no-sugar alternative that more closely resembles the original version of Coke.
The advert will aim to reinforce Coca-Cola’s rich Christmas heritage and its synonymy with the festive season, CCEP said, strengthening its claim as the soft drink of choice during the holidays.
CCEP operational marketing director Caroline Cater said: “When you think Christmas, you think Coca-Cola, and our new Coke for Christmas TV advert showcases how the brand is an ever-present at many of the moments that make this time of year so special.
“The advert features Coca-Cola in its trademark glass icon bottle, which is a firm favourite with consumers. We hope it inspires people to enjoy the unique taste of the Coca-Cola portfolio during their festive celebrations with family and friends this Christmas.”
