Coca-Cola unit wins approval for Mexico dairy deal
It has been reported that Juice maker Jugos del Valle has received regulatory approval to assume control of Mexican dairy firm Santa Clara, as Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Company attempts to expand further into dairy products and non-carbonated beverages.
Coca-Cola Mexico did not give details on how much it will pay or when, according to the reports.
Santa Clara produces milk, yogurt, ice cream and other goods at a factory in the central Mexican city of Pachuca. The Santa Clara brand is available in grocery stores as well as at Santa Clara's 167 branded retail outlets.
