Coke and Greenpeace combine for climate change
The Coca-Cola Company and Greenpeace are set to announce an agreement on important climate protection initiative.
The Coca-Cola Company will announce a significant new commitment to reduce direct greenhouse gas emissions. Greenpeace has urged Coca-Cola to expand its climate commitments and supports this announcement as a positive example of business investment in low-carbon growth.
Coke chairman and CEO, Muhtar Kent, will make the announcement on 3 December. He will be joined by Phil Radford (executive director, Greenpeace USA) and Gerd Leipold (former executive director, Greenpeace International).
