Cold Stone Creamery will bring back its fudge truffle flavour of ice cream – as well as a fudge truffle frappe – to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The fudge truffle ice cream will be in stores in the US from today until 28 February. The ‘rich and decadent’ ice cream is made fresh in store in small batches, and is made using fudge truffle-flavoured ice cream, brownies, fudge and whipped topping.
The ice cream franchise will also mark the return of the fudge truffle promotional frappe, which combines creamy ice blended coffee with dark cocoa, fudge and whipped topping.
And it will offer consumers a heart-shaped fudge truffle decadence cake with moist layers of red velvet, sweet cream ice cream with chocolate shavings and fudge truffle ice cream with chocolate shavings wrapped in rich fudge ganache.
Kate Unger, senior vice-president of marketing for Cold Stone Creamery, said: “With the season of love upon us, we find a fantastic way to show affection towards that special someone is by treating them to our creamy and decadently rich fudge truffle ice cream. This flavour profile is a chocolate lover’s dream and we very much enjoy bringing this frequently requested flavour out at a time of year when we know so many are looking for that perfectly rich chocolate treat.
“We also can’t help but think the return of this fabulous flavour is a pretty sweet way to kick off the new year!”
