German chocolate manufacturer Halloren Schokoladenfabrik has launched its new Oh là là collection of chocolates, packaged in Innovia Films’ Propafilm RCU.
The Oh là là selection features 12 circular chocolates in three different flavours – Marc de Champagne, chocolat noir and crème de nougat – in each 130g box. The chocolates are decorated with bold patterns, and the packaging features visual cues that are designed to appeal to the product’s principally female demographic.
Propafilm RCU is a biaxially oriented polypropylene film that provides protection from mineral oil migration and, in addition, provides a barrier to water vapour, flavours and aromas. The packaging solution offers up to 1.5 years’ proven protection from mineral oil migration, Innovia Films claimed; the film application is a flow wrap of the tray containing the chocolates inside the box.
Innovia Films sales account manager Joachim Janz said: “We are pleased to be able to provide our customer, Halloren Schokoladenfabrik AG, with a film to match their requirements, particularly around barrier. Propafilm RCU has a proven mineral oil barrier and looks great.”
Based in Halle, near Leipzig, Halloren Schokoladenfabrik claims to be the oldest chocolate factory in Germany and offers an extensive range of fine chocolates and confectionery.
