Cracker Drinks has launched a lower-calorie Skinny version of two of its most popular fruit juice flavours.
The drinks company, which places an emphasis on creating better-for-you products, designed the range to fulfil consumer demand for a great-tasting, low-calorie juice drink. It has introduced the vitamin-enriched range, each with less than 60 calories per 200ml serving, in two flavours: pineapple, coconut and lime; and still and cloudy lemonade.
It is the brand’s second product introduction of the year, after launching a new range of adult juice drinks with no added sugar in March.
Cracker Drinks managing director Gavin Cox said: “Three years ago we decided that we would cease adding sugar to any of our juice drinks in line with consumer demand and since then it has been our mission to create brilliantly blended drinks that still pack a flavour punch, with natural sweeteners. We work really hard to get our blends right to maximise the flavour of each fruit and minimise the natural stevia taste and, for a lower calorie product, we are confident that this is one of the tastiest available.”
The new products come in a 1 litre pack with a recommended retail price of £1.99 per litre.
The bold and eye-catching packaging guarantees that Cracker Skinny will stand out in the chiller, the company said, and with summer on its way this thirst-quenching drink is set to be ideally positioned for appealing to health-conscious customers. The drinks contain just as much vitamin C and fibre as 100% orange juice – but with 40% fewer calories and no added sugar or artificial sweeteners.
