Crown wins awards for whisky packaging

Crown Speciality Packaging Europe, a business unit of Crown Holdings Inc, was honoured with two awards in the Design and Packaging category at the 2009 International Spirits Challenge.
The company’s Gold Award was a result of metal packaging designed for the Bruichladdich Distillery’s Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, while its Commended award was received for a perforated tin created for Jack Daniel’s.
“It’s an honour to be recognised by the ISC for our work in the wine and spirits industry,” said Martin Stenson, marketing & development manager, Crown Speciality Packaging Europe. “At Crown, we work closely with our customers to find the ideal metal packaging solutions for their specific needs.”
