Dorset Cereals phases out use of palm oil in its products
Over the last few months, Dorset Cereals has phased out the use of palm oil and has announced that it does not use palm oil in any of its recipes.
“We find the whole issue of ensuring that palm oil can be supplied without the devastation of natural habitats just not clear cut enough for us, so we’ve decided to not use palm oil in any of our recipes,” said Patrick Horton, commercial director. “This has meant a significantly higher cost to our company, but we know it’s the right thing to do.”
