London-based drinks brand Newton’s has launched a new healthy apple juice.
Appl Fizzics has been described as “a curiously refreshing blend of apple juice and sparkling water with approximately 40% less sugar than apple juice on its own”.
Available in both 330ml and 750ml bottles, the new juice is completely natural, containing no artificial ingredients, preservatives or added sugar. The brand name is inspired by British scientist and mathematician Sir Isaac Newton, who first theorised the laws of gravity after seeing an apple fall to the ground in 1666.
The lightly sparkling golden drink has a recommended retail price of £1.30. After trialling in the summer, the line is being rolled out nationwide as an addition to the adult soft drink segment.
Chris Banks, founder of Newton’s Appl Fizzics, said: “We are really excited to be launching Newton’s Appl Fizzics at such an appropriate time. So many people are trying to reduce the amount of sugar they consume and this is a key theme in the sector. We also know that people believe natural is best; so there is no room for anything artificial in our drinks and there never will be.”
