EHPM appointed to European Commission’s Advisory Group
The European Federation of Associations of Health Product Manufacturers (EHPM) last month became a member of the European Commission’s Advisory Group on the Food Chain and Animal and Plant Health.
EHPM joins eight other new members all appointed to the group on 14 April through a Commission Decision published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
The aim of the group is for the European Commission to consult it on its programme of work on food and feed safety, food & feed labelling and presentation, human nutrition in relation to food legislation, animal health and welfare, plant health, consumer protection and any measures that the European Commission must take or propose in these fields.
The new appointments bring the total number of Advisory Group members to 45.
