Food and drink importer Empire Bespoke Foods has further bolstered its French’s portfolio of condiments in the UK with the addition of a trio of Deep South-inspired barbecue sauces, just in time for this summer’s barbecue season.
The new additions include Kansas City classic, a rich and zesty tomato-based sauce with the ideal balance of caramelised sweetness and tang; Louisiana hot and spicy, with its full-bodied blend of smoky heat and sweet and tangy tomato; plus Mississippi sweet and smoky sauce, which delivers on smooth sweetness from the honey, tangy vinegar and tomato profile, and natural hickory smoke flavour complemented by a hint of garlic.
Great for dipping, slathering and marinating, the new flavour-packed products from the iconic US condiment brand will be available to the independent and convenience sector in the UK, packaged in 396g easy-squeeze bottles with a recommended retail price of £2.33.
Nick Thomas, Empire Bespoke Foods’ sales and marketing Director, said: “With the trend for American cuisine showing no signs of letting up we’re thrilled to be extending our range of French’s to the convenience sector with the addition of a trio of authentic US barbecue sauces in time for America’s Independence Day.
“Consumers and retailers alike trust and respect the French’s brand for their condiment expertise and all three of these products deliver on taste and flavour so we are expecting them to get off to a flying start this summer.”
