EPDWA to change name

Members of The European Point-of-use Drinking Water Association have voted unanimously to change the name of the mains-fed water cooler association to the European Drinking Water Cooler Association.

Of the 48.25% of the membership that voted, a resounding 86.8% voted in favour of the change, and the association is now in the process of implementing the name change.
In addition to the change in name, the new EDWCA will formally include bottled and boxed water coolers, although the EDWCA will promote first and foremost the development of the mains-fed business.
The European Point-of-use Drinking Water Association has said it will make an announcement to its members when the name change becomes officially effective.
