Companies taking part this year are: Adam’s Foods, apetito, Britvic UK,Coca-Cola Enterprises, Ginsters, General Mills, Kraft Foods UK, Nestlé UK, Mars Chocolate UK, United Biscuits, Warburtons and the William Jackson Food Group.

See Inside Manufacturing, run by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) in conjunction with organisations such as FDF, aims to improve the image of manufacturing whilst also inspiring young people to consider careers in sectors such as food and drink.

FDF director general, Melanie Leech, said: “We are delighted that so many visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about food and drink manufacturing this summer. It is great that so many companies have got involved with this year’s scheme and FDF is really pleased to be a part of it."
