Naturalia Ingredients and the Cantine Foraci is introducing the world’s first production facility dedicated to the production of sugar, glucose and crystal-based grape sugars.

The production facility which was designed by Sadam Engineering, part of the Gruppo Maccaferri, boasts a production capacity of approximately 25 tonnes/day.

It is located in the Western part of Sicily, an area with a vast number of vineyards which is considered to be the most densely cultivated grape-growing area in the whole of Europe.

The Trapani province in Sicily, where the Naturalia Ingredients production facility is located, represents over 50% of the whole of Sicily’s grape production.
