Fonterra wants control of Sadafco
Fonterra wants to take over its Saudi Arabian processing plant Saudi Dairy & Foodstuff (known as Sadafco), accoridng to a FoodWeek report.
The cooperative has a conditional agreement to buy the 51% of Saudi New Zealand Dairy Products Co, owned by Jeddah-based Saudi Dairy & Foodstuff Co, said a spokesperson, who declined further comment.
No price has been disclosed, but the transaction is expected to be settled in January.
