Channel 4 News swept the board at the annual event, taking home a handful of awards, including the Grand Prix ‘Website of the Year’. The news network also won in the category ‘Best Use of Social Media’, the category in which FoodBev.com was nominated.
“We were realistic about our chances,” said Shaun Weston, FoodBev.com managing editor. “We were in strong company, pitched against established players in our field. However, we’re very pleased to be a finalist, because we work very hard for such a small team, and we’ll continue to do what it takes to produce a website that our visitors enjoy. We’ll be back at next year’s awards.”
