Frieda's has posted its latest Specialty Produce 101 video on YouTube about Coconuts. The company claims it is great for consumer education and entertainment.
With this latest video, Frieda's encourages the consumer to try Fresh Coconuts and educates them on the different varieties available in produce departments.
For the retailer or produce manager who may not know the specific differences between Young, Brown, and White Coconuts, Frieda's YouTube video provides a well-rounded and entertaining snapshot about the fruit, its history, health benefits and its various uses, all in less than three minutes, the company said.
To date, Frieda's YouTube Channel features 10 videos as part of its Specialty Produce 101 series: Jicama, Bitter Melon, Blood Oranges, Kiwano Melon, Cactus Pears, Cherimoya and Buddha's Hand to name a few. Produced in-house by Frieda's marketing team, the videos are designed to educate retailers and consumers about unique and unusual fruits and vegetables in a creative and playful way.
Karen Caplan, Frieda's president and CEO, said: "As specialty produce consultants, we seek to be an expert source of information, and the video series is a great way to educate clients and inspire consumers."
