Fruit snack brand Urban Fruit has secured a new listing for both its sharing and snack pack formats with supermarket chain Sainsbury’s.
The snacks – made with 100% fruit that’s been hand-picked in season and gently baked –will be available from the middle of this month. Packs of Urban Fruit contain no sulphites, sugars or concentrates, making them a delicious and nutritious snack offering.
The latest listing extends the availability of Urban Fruit products, which is already stocked by supermarkets Tesco, Asda, Waitrose, Ocado and The Co-Operative.
Urban Fruit founder Hayley Gait-Golding said: “We launched Urban Fruit to give consumers the genuinely healthy snack that they were asking for and to make fruit snacking simpler, more engaging and a lot more mobile. By Sainsbury’s signing up to stock our products we can help even more people to access a healthier way of snacking.”
Sainsbury’s buyer Catherine Pintilie said: “We’re very pleased to be launching Urban Fruit on our fixture and they’ll be available from July. This reflects our continued commitment to helping our customers make healthier choices more easily, particularly when it comes to snacking.”
