Confectionery retailer Fudge Kitchen is preparing to release a new gift set that allows consumers to make their own fudge frappé at home.
Launching at the end of June, the set includes three chocolate and three sea salted caramel sachets, a branded cocktail glass, chocolate wafer biscuits, a swizzle stick and mixing guide. “Gorgeously gift packaged” in 232g formats, the new fudge frappé gift sets will be available with a recommended retail price of £15.
The retailer recommends blending the contents of the sachet with ice, milk and a shot of espresso for the perfect fudge-flavoured frappé, before personalised with whatever topping the consumer prefers.
Its introduction extends Fudge Kitchen’s series of innovation, with the number of new products released by the company exceeding 100 in just three years.
Fudge Kitchen managing director Sian Holt said: “Over the last three years, Fudge Kitchen has been honing the skills of NPD and sugar magic, so it seemed a natural progression to explore further afield and push ourselves to embrace other opportunities that use many of the same base ingredients and for which there is either established demand, or that fit into current trends.
The company has also announced new listings with retailers including Harrods and a select number of Waitrose Homeware stores. Harrods will begin selling the brand’s slim sliders, drinking fudge selection and four varieties of its slice-and-serve loaves; a small number of Waitrose Homeware stores will also list Fudge Kitchen’s boozy and classic fudge treats, and puddings, taster and chocolate indulgence nine-piece selection.
