Aramark Refreshment Services to acquire Filterfresh
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters has secured a stock purchase agreement to which Aramark Refreshment Services will acquire all shares of Filterfresh from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.
The agreement is based on an aggregate cash purchase price of approximately $145m.
Jonathan Peters, executive vice president, Aramark Refreshment Services, said: “Aramark and Filterfresh are both leaders in providing excellent service and quality office coffee and other refreshments to employees in the workplace. We look forward to satisfying even more customers through this new partnership.”
The agreement contains customary representations and warranties and is subject to various closing conditions, including obtaining regulatory approval in the US.
