IDF Dairy Innovation Awards judging panel announced

The international judging panel for the prestigious 2010 IDF Dairy Innovation Awards has been announced.

With over 150 entries from 29 countries, the 2010 IDF Dairy Innovation Awards celebrates excellence in the global dairy industry, with categories designed to reward and champion innovation in health and nutrition, product development, functionality and environmental best practice.

The 2010 IDF Dairy Innovation Awards is presented by The International Dairy Federation in partnership with Dairy Innovation magazine.

The international judging panel includes:

  • Richard Veit – Interbrand MD, Central and Eastern Europe.
  • Esther Renfrew – Zenith International dairy market intelligence director.
  • Christian Robert – IDF director general.
  • Sandra Tuijtelaars – IDF nutrition officer.
  • Mike Johnston – CEO of the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland, and Northern Ireland director of Dairy UK.
  • Caroline Sanders – Tate & Lyle ingredients marketing director.
  • Gérard Ferrat – Sidel business development manager – sensitive products – West Europe & Africa
  • Joerg Seifert – IDF technical director.
  • Geoff PlattDairy Innovation editor.
  • Bill Bruce – The panel will be chaired by FoodBev Media group editorial director.

Entries for the awards closed on 19 March and the judging takes place in Brussels on 30 March. Finalists and winners will be announced at a special awards gala dinner on 28 April during the 4th Global Dairy Congress in Salzburg.
