illy issimo launches new formats for on-the-go coffee

illy issimo – developed through a collaboration between illycaffè and The Coca-Cola Company – will introduce a larger, resealable bottle format for its most popular Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato variants.

The new 250ml HDPE plastic bottles are designed to appeal to on-the-go 30-somethings 'with a love of Italian heritage and quality food and drink'. See also illy issimo in resealable glass bottles.

The two 250ml variants will have an RRP of £1.79 per bottle in the UK.

Cold-hot drinks are now the fastest growing subcategory in the soft drinks marketplace. In 2011, market value went up by 45% and volumes increased by 24% (Source: Britvic Soft Drinks Report 2012).
