InBev UK recalls batches of Stella Artois beer

Shaun Weston3 Dec 2010

InBev has recalled some batches of Stella Artois beer (250ml bottles) because they may contain small pieces of glass. The Food Standards Agency in the UK has issued a ‘Product Recall Information Notice’.

The InBev UK website states: ‘This is due to an isolated issue affecting a single production run of glass bottles supplied to us by one of our glass bottle suppliers. There is a risk that some 250ml bottles of Stella Artois sold in 10 packs may contain glass fragments and, as a precaution, we’re recalling all products that may be affected.’

Details of the affected batches can be found here.
