A food and drinks industry consultancy has launched a new advisory service, designed to accelerate the growth of food and drink start-ups.
Zenith Springboard “will offer tailored solutions focusing on the specific needs of clients,” said UK-based Zenith International. These will include market data, business planning, product formulation and route-to-market advice in affordable packages, designed to improve a new brand’s chances of success.
The programme will be headed up by Paul Martin – a former CEO and director of numerous successful start-ups – with support from Zenith’s consultants and partners across the sectors of finance, ingredients, production, packaging and distribution.
Martin said: “Almost all successful food and beverage entrepreneurs say they wish someone had told them about vital basic lessons, shortcuts or pitfalls sooner. Our aim is to offer those valuable insights and solutions with the minimum of fuss right through from the initial product idea to retailer strategies and rollout programmes.”
Zenith International commercial director Matt Wilton added: “Our combined experience of working with ambitious start-ups and early stage new businesses is such that we want to become the ‘go to’ team for food and beverage entrepreneurs. We will strive to answer initial questions at minimal cost and then develop affordable projects that deliver swift and effective results.”
