Part of the trend towards eating more ‘ancient grains’ Chia is growing at around 80% year on year. Frank and Stephen talk about their best selling 400gram whole seed Chia pack as well as their new chia with blueberry and cranberry blends.
Made simply from milled chia it is high in protein, fibre and Omega-3 and can be used as an additive in breakfast cereal or porridge, in yogurt and it can be used in baking as an egg replacement or as a butter replacement and in some instances in baking as a flour replacement.
