Jamba Juice will direct the funds during 2013 through its ‘Team Up for a Healthy America’ campaign to provide play and exercise equipment to high-need schools across America to help keep kids’ minds and bodies active.
The Jamba sponsored ‘Team Up’ programme was launched in 2011 in an effort to engage the company’s partners in a broad awareness campaign aimed at encouraging young people to make better dietary choices and providing ways for them to keep active.
Jamba chairman, president and CEO, James White said: “We are proud of the impact our program is beginning to have on the fight against childhood obesity by keeping kids active and eating healthier foods.
“Together with our partners on Team Up, we hope to touch thousands of kids and adults across America and inspire them to live more active lifestyles by developing healthy habits that will last them a lifetime.”
