USA Water Polo and Olympic Medalists and 2012 US Olympic Water Polo players have joined forces with Jamba Juice to help in the fight against childhood obesity.
In support of the Jamba Team Up for a Healthy America programme, Olympic Medalists and 2012 US Olympic Water Polo players will take part in a water polo clinic for children from Los Angeles Unified School District on 7 July.
At this event, Jamba Juice will donate water polo balls to 12 schools represented by each of the children attending the clinic.
The clinic is in conjunction with a send-off for the US Olympic Water Polo Teams taking place at the InterContinental Century City in Los Angeles, California (US).
Jennifer Rottenberg, chief marketing officer, USA Water Polo, said: "We joined Jamba Juice last year during the inaugural launch of the 'Team Up' program and it is exciting to see the immediate impact of the programme in the water polo community by being able to provide increased opportunities for deserving student-athlete water polo players to have access to better equipment."
