J&J Snack Foods acquires pretzels business

J&J Snack Foods Corp has acquired the assets of Kim & Scott's Gourmet Pretzels.

Kim & Scott's is distributed throughout foodservice & retail channels.

Gerald Shreiber, president and CEO of J&J Snack Foods Corp, said: "We are pleased to welcome the Kim & Scott's family into our organisation. We look forward to expanding the brand in the future."

Co-founder Scott Holstein will continue to work for the company.

J&J has a number of manufacturing facilities in the US.
