In our Friday YouTube video roundup this week, Kelly Brook dips her ice cream in melted chocolate, innocent potatoes are killed in the name of McD's, and Alpen gets a Geordie makeover.
The new Magnum pop-up store opened in London recently, a place where you can dip your ice cream into the topping of your choice. Sounds good to us. Kelly Brook got the ball rolling, as you can see on this video.
PepsiCo talks about listening to its consumers, using its 'Do Us a Flavor' campaign as an example, which invited Lay's fans to vote for, you guessed it, a new flavour.
Where do McDonald's French fries comes from? This burning question is answered in this video from a local potato farmer in the US. What? A McDonald's ad without the familiar 'I'm loving' it' jingle at the end? See this one, too, about how the Chicken McBites commercial was made.
There's something quite reassuring about using regional accents in TV adverts these days. It doesn't seem so long ago when the protocol was 'BBC English only', but the heart warms when you hear a Geordie talk about Swiss oats.
My favourite video this week is 'Share the Buzz' from Whole Foods Market, which paints an emotional picture of what happens in a world without bees, as seen from the perspective of a bee, and narrated by a wee bairn.
